Oloop Announces Plans for Online Homeowners Insurance Center

San Francisco, CA - May 1, 2000

Oloop announced today plans to launch an online insurance center focusing on the homeowners line of business. "Consumers have long needed solutions for the homeowners and renters products", stated CEO Uri Feldman. "Today's frequently moving renters have very little access to insurance protection for their possessions. In fact, 76 percent of rental households are uninsured in the US, and 5 million home owners move each year and require new insurance. We are building the solution for them providing underwritten, actionable quotes that allow the consumer to take care of this problem in about ten minutes. A consumer will be able to get multiple quotes and bind on line with reputable name brand carriers by the end of the year."

Oloop's functionality will be private labeled and incorporated into multiple internet sites and physical world organizations such as real estate agents and home builders.

All parties stand to benefit from this new functionality. The consumer will gain access to multiple top tier carriers for products that are currently very difficult to access. The carriers will obtain new customers that are fully underwritten for minimal costs and low risk. And the partnerships will have new ways of streamlining their own sales cycle, increasing consumer usage of their sites, and improving the monetization of their consumers.
